New West Consulting is a real estate appraisal firm with a core business of providing professional valuation services to the lending community; primarily banks, credit unions and commercial-mortgage bankers. Therefore, our firm and its employees are subject to regulatory oversight. More specifically, our staff must conform, and adhere to the following rules and regulations:

Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice as promulgated by the Appraisal Foundation;

Rules and regulations, as promulgated by the Arizona Department of Financial Institutions - Real Estate Appraisal Division

TITLE XI of the Financial Institutions Recovery, Reform, and Enforcement Act of 1989, as amended (FIRREA) Real Estate   Appraisal Reform Amendments [12 U.S.C. 3331-3351];* and the

Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act with respect to the protection of nonpublic personal information.

*Includes all applicable OCC/FDIC/OTS/NCUA regulations (Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Office of Thrift Supervision, and the National Credit Union Administration)

Additionally, our staff of appraisers voluntarily conforms and adheres to the Appraisal Institute’s Code of Professional Ethics and Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice. The Appraisal Institute is the leading professional organization for real estate appraisers.
